Breastfeeding is a great option for some mothers, but it’s not always easy. Luckily, Singing River Health System has several great programs to help moms who may be struggling to meet their breastfeeding goals.

FREE Breastfeeding Classes

Discover how to breastfeed your new baby and everything to expect in this free course by Singing River Health System. Choose a class date below that falls near your seventh month of pregnancy, and make plans to attend.

Outpatient Lactation Consultants

FREE, one-on-one consultations with a Board Certified Lactation Consultant or a Certified Lactation Counselor are available by appointment. Same-day and Zoom appointments are available. Call 228-818-1172 to schedule a FREE Lactation Consultation.

Free Breastfeeding Support Group

Singing River is now part of Making an Impact on the Lactation Community League (MILC). Our community MILC League meets at Pascagoula Headstart every third Thursday from 1:00PM-2:30PM.

Medical Records Information

Records can be requested and picked up from Ocean Springs Hospital or Pascagoula Hospital for any hospital or Singing River owned Medical Clinic. For Gulfport Hospital records, you must contact the Gulfport Office.

Call Singing River Health System Financial Services at (228) 762-8876 or email us at [email protected] with questions about billing, hospital accounts, bankruptcies, probates, or outside collection agencies. Financial Services is available Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.

Finding Transportation

Do you need a ride to your medical appointment?

Singing River's Patient Transportation Services provides free transportation for the citizens of Jackson County from their residences to medical and hospital appointments and back home. The buses operate Monday through Friday, 7:30AM-4:00PM.

Ride appointments are available on a first come, first serve basis. Make your ride appointment today by calling (228) 809-5088.
