Do you have trouble sleeping or feel tired most of the time? You aren’t alone. You may have a sleep disorder. Many sleep disorders go undiagnosed, but they are treatable and can be managed.
Singing River Health System’s Sleep Services is the most experienced Sleep Department in Mississippi. We were the first hospital in the state to offer sleep therapy over 20 years ago. Our Sleep Center is fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
New Patient Information
In order to receive a sleep study, patients must first be evaluated by one of our sleep providers. At your initial appointment, they’ll perform an evaluation, and then a sleep study will be ordered. Contact our office to make your first appointment.

We treat all kinds of sleep-related issues and disorders at Sleep Services, including:
- Sleep Apnea

- Difficulty breathing during sleep
PAP Therapy (Positive Airway Therapy)
CPAP or BiPAP machine is worn during sleep and blows a constant stream of air so the airways do not become obstructed or collapse during sleep, preventing cessation of breathing.
In cases of idiopathic hyper somnolence or narcolepsy, medication may be used to control the symptoms of sleepiness.
In some cases of insomnia, patients will be referred to counseling as long term use of sleep aids are not recommended.
Sleep Hygiene Education
Receive education on how to get the best sleep.
We provide close follow-up every six months to one year in order to ensure compliance with PAP therapy.
Sleep Studies at the Neuroscience Sleep Center
