Singing River Health System Foundation will serve as an Entitlement Sponsor for three Southern Miss Baseball games this season. Two of the games will be played at MGM Park in Biloxi, MS on March 2 and March 22. The third game will be played in Hattiesburg, MS later in the season.
Singing River Health System Foundation is a registered 501(c) 3 non-profit, charitable organization that continues to provide healthcare related support for qualified individuals in the Mississippi Gulf Coast Area. The Foundation, an affiliate of Singing River Health System, focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining medically related programs and services in our community, and provides emergent assistance to those in need.
“The need for medical assistance is growing in the community, and we want to be able to help those in need,” said Jessica Bartels, Executive Director Singing River Health System Foundation. “Our goal is to assist those in need when possible, and by partnering with Southern Miss Baseball we will be better able to spread the word about our mission to thousands of residents, donors, contributors, and supporters.”
The Foundation works with patients of Singing River Hospice of Light, Singing River Regional Cancer Center, Singing River Heart and Vascular Services and other services areas that demonstrate unmet needs. If the Foundation is unable to help directly, the Foundation works with other organizations to help identify or obtain the resources that are needed.
The Foundation receives funding from private and public donations, grants and fundraising events, such as the Employee Giving Campaign, Run Run Rudolph 5k and Breast Cancer Crusaders of Ocean Springs. Donations to the Foundation can be made by mail, online, through payroll deduction or by calling the office. Donations are tax-deductible.
