What to Expect
Our healthcare family is committed to providing you with compassionate, quality care. We offer a variety of services for our patients including admission and discharge, clinical research, and pastoral care. It is important to us that you receive the best care – and that is why our Guest Relations Department is available to answer or address any questions or concerns you might have regarding the care you received at Singing River Health System.
Singing River Health System’s food and nutrition services staff makes every effort to honor special dietary needs for patients upon request. Please ask your nurse to contact the Registered Dietician if you have any special dietary restrictions.
For patients staying overnight in one of our hospitals, in-room meals are served around the following times:
- Breakfast: 7:30am – 9am
- Lunch: 11:30am – 1pm
- Dinner: 4:30pm – 6pm

Singing River Health System also offers access for patients to MyChart which gives you access to your medical recods. With MyChart you can access your test results, manage your appointments, communicate with your doctor, fill out pre-visit questionnaires, pay bills online, request prescription refills, update medications and allergies, connect to home devices, view a child’s records and growth charts, manage the care of elderly patients, view personalized education topics, and track your health.
If you are a resident of Jackson County and require financial assistance for your balance with Singing River Health System, you might be eligible through the Financial Assistance Program.
Patient Rights and Responsibilities
At Singing River Health System, you have certain rights and responsibilities related to your care as a patient in our facilities. We want you to be aware and educated on these rights and be actively involved in your healthcare choices.

Medical Records Request
Your Singing River Health System medical records are available upon request. A copy of your medical records can be sent to another medical facility or obtained for personal reasons.
